We’re completely led by teenagers, for teenagers. Our founders , like many teenagers, have faced bullying, depression, the need for academic validation, procrastination, and sexualization, and the BYF project aims to build a community around these issues instead of pretending like they don’t exist.

Our podcast comes out several times a month, and we interview experts in various different fields, from clinical psychologists, professors, and researchers, to directors of esteemed programs like Stanford University-affiliated Challenge Success

Our blog provides insight by teens for teens on how to deal with day to day mental health struggles many adolescents face. Through our blogs, we share helpful information, personal stories, and practical insights to support others navigating similar challenges

Bloom Boxes
Bloom Boxes are mental health toolkits for teens, offered in the USA, meant to make resources more readily available and packed with fidget toys, herbal teas, and more. Petal Pages
As part of our launch for our UK chapter, we are introducing Petal Pages! These are guided journals used in our workshops, they give students space to reflect on their emotions and experiences through simple prompts, while a Parent Awareness Page on the back offers a brief overview of the session and practical guidance to support conversations at home.

Partnerships
In December of 2025, in collaboration with Los Altos-based nonprofit, Together We Can, Aanya Mukherjee hosted a booth at the Holiday Market in Los Altos to fundraise for the BYF Project. In the spirit of #GivingTuesday, donate today.
In November of 2025, Aanya Mukherjee, discussed a new partnership with the Mountain View and Los Altos Youth Challenge Team and the Los Altos Youth Commission with aims to expand the BYF Projects’s Bloom Box program and strengthen resources for students facing digital bullying across local schools.
BYF Project expansion
November 2025: The BYF Project expanded its work branched off into two: the US Chapter and the UK Chapter. We share the same mission of helping students build healthier relationships with themselves, but each chapter shapes that mission around the realities of its own communities.
In November of 2025, our UK Chapter leads discussed a new partnership with the City of London Corporation City to bring our well-being workshops incorporating our new Petal Pages to the ‘London Family of Schools’ to strengthen resources for students struggling with self-esteem and confidence.
